Nsawam (E/R), April 28, GNA - The Nsawam Magistrate Court on Thursday sentenced two farmers of Krabokese near Coaltar in the Eastern Region to six months imprisonment each for stealing 12 fowls, estimated to cost 500,000 cedis.

Nsawam (E/R), April 28, GNA - The Nsawam Magistrate Court on Thursday sentenced two farmers of Krabokese near Coaltar in the Eastern Region to six months imprisonment each for stealing 12 fowls, estimated to cost 500,000 cedis. They are Ibrahi m Zimbo, 22 and Sule Mani Hamsiwa, 20. They pleaded guilty. Prosecuting, Police Inspector Alex Cosmos told the court presided over by Mr Joseph Mensah that on April 20, this year, the accused persons climbed a tree in front of Mr Kwadjo Osei, the complainant's house and managed to enter the hencoop to steal the fowls. Inspector Cosmos said Mr Kwadjo Osei, who was awakened by the noise of the fowls raised an alarm and the nearby neighbours helped to arrest Ibrahim Zimbo while Sule was arrested with the fowls while he was on his way to Nsawam to sell them. 28 April 06
