Sekondi (W/R) Sept. 18 GNA-Two suspects who invaded the estates of Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) at Benso in the Western Region and made away with personal belongings worth millions of cedis were on Thursday arraigned before a magistrate's court at Sekondi. The suspects Atto Kwamena, 32, from Adumbanso and Baba Ibrahim 21, a Sisalla, all pleaded not guilty to conspiracy, unlawful entry and stealing. The court presided over by Mr Seyram Azumah remanded them to re-appear on September 22. Police Sergeant Iyadam Otchere told the court that on Sept. 5, this year, the accused person and two others now at large invaded the estate of BOPP and stole personal belongings worth 3.4 million cedis. The items included a bicycle, a wall clock, four pairs of canvas boots, 2 pair of Wellington boots, one wheelbarrow, 16 audio CDs, a loud speakers and a quantity of soap. Mr Otchere said during investigations some of the items were found in possession of the accused persons. 18 Sept. 05
