A married woman aged 39 years; Mrs. Leticia Osei residing in Kumasi has terminated a 7 -month baby with Guinness mixed with sugar today at Breman in the Ashanti region.
The suspect who resides with her husband is believed to have cheated on her him with her ex-boyfriend resulting in the pregnancy.
For fear of losing her marriage, the housewife attempted terminating the baby with the concoction prescribed by an unnamed friend.
Ultimate1069.com sources at the Nkontwima Clinic at Breman, disclosed that in her quest to terminate the pregnancy, she drunk the Guinness mixed with sugar yesterday evening but the liquid substance failed to abort the pregnancy as wished.
She was however reported to have experienced some abdominal pains which nearly caused her life and was rushed to the hospital this morning where it was confirmed she attempted an abortion with unapproved drugs.
Mrs. Osei who is on admission at the health facility is responding to treatment.

‘The couple has been struggling to conceive, so when she got pregnant with her ex-boyfriend she decided to keep it, but things didn’t work as the ex-boyfriend who equally wanted the baby objected to that suggestion, hence the abortion,’ he explained.
The hospital is yet to report the matter to the police considering the severity of the crime.
