The four military men were allegedly conducting illegal raids at Simpa Junction
The National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat (NAIMOS) has arrested four military men conducting illegal raids at Simpa Junction in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem District of the Western Region.
In a tactical operation on Monday, August 18, 2025, the NAIMOS task force seized the weapons and equipment of the ‘fake’ security officers who had been embarking on illegal raids within the region.
The four suspects are believed to be members of outlawed groups who conduct unauthorised anti-illegal mining operations in the region under the guise of National Security.
