The 3 men are suspected to have sexually abused their daughters
Police in Kasoa have arrested three men for allegedly sexually abusing their biological daughters, following a formal complaint filed by the Awutu Senya East Municipal Education Directorate.
According to officials, the victims disclosed the incidents to the Directorate’s Girl-Child and Guidance and Counselling coordinators, prompting immediate action.
The Ghana Police Service confirmed that all three suspects were picked up shortly after the complaint was lodged and are cooperating with investigators.
A report by myjoyonline.com dated December 11, 2025, indicated that education authorities are worried about the rising number of child protection violations in the municipality.

The directorate noted that such cases, once considered rare, are now being reported more frequently.
Municipal education officials have renewed calls for stronger institutional collaborations to safeguard children, stressing that the incident highlights ongoing vulnerabilities faced by young people in the area.
They further expressed concern about the lack of a Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) office in Awutu Senya East, despite the commission’s broad presence across the country.
The absence of a local CHRAJ office, they said, limits timely access to essential support services for victims and their families.
