A brother of the late taxi driver, Kwasi Dada, who was allegedly shot dead by a policewoman, says bullets were found in his brother’s car a day after he was called to the police station.
Speaking to GhanaWeb TV on January 22, 2026, Yaw said he was informed around 4 a.m. on Tuesday that his brother had been shot and taken to the Accra Central Police Station.
“When we arrived, we were told Kwasi Dada had been shot and his body taken to the Police Hospital. The suspect had been apprehended at the scene,” he said.

Yaw said his brother had been hired for a trip from Dansoman to Kasoa but made a U-turn into Tetegu, where the shooting occurred.
“I believe a misunderstanding led to her shooting him three times, causing him to die in his car,” he added.
CID officers reportedly found bullets in Kwasi Dada’s car but no weapon belonging to him.
“Even if my brother had wronged her, why did she not aim for his legs or hands instead of killing him?” Yaw questioned.
