A woman has alleged that a police officer identified only as Ayaaba from Bekwai in the Ashanti Region, together with a group of men, have allegedly abducted her husband.
In a video shared on X by CDR Africa on Friday, February 6, 2026, she recounted that her husband had just returned from the farm when he was taken away by the men.
“He had just returned from the farm at that time, when he was abducted by the men and the police,” she said.

According to the woman, she does not know what crime her husband may have committed to be treated this way.
“I do not know what crime my husband has committed. He has not harmed anyone,” she added.
She warned that if any harm comes to her husband, those allegedly involved, including the police officer, should be held accountable.
Police rescue two women in viral kidnapping case, eight arrested
The woman pleaded with the men to release her husband immediately, saying the situation has left her terrified and desperate.
"I do not know what crime my husband has committed. He has not killed anyone, so I am appealing with them to release him," she added.
