The Police Intelligence Directorate (PID) Ashanti Region has recovered a stolen vehicle belonging to a Kumasi-based legal practitioner, following a swift intelligence-led operation.
According to police reports, “Alfred Gyimah of Toto Legal Firm reported on April 3, 2026, that his unregistered 2019 Honda CR-V had been stolen a day earlier from his residence.
“The complainant indicated that the incident occurred on April 2, 2026, after he had parked the vehicle within the premises of his fenced house. Initial investigations revealed that the perpetrators allegedly gained access to the house through the kitchen door.”
Police sources say the suspects are believed to have entered the apartment, retrieved the ignition keys from the dining table and subsequently used them to drive away the locked vehicle.
