Dr Jesse Amuah and his wife had not been seen or heard from since March 23, 2026
Two individuals have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with the disappearance of Dr Jesse Amuah and his wife, Elizabeth Esi Amuah, as investigations intensify to locate the missing couple.
According to the police, a report was filed on April 22, 2026, with the Missing Persons Unit after the couple had not been seen or heard from since March 23, 2026.
The complainant noted that their home was found locked, their Nissan Sunny with registration number GX 159-X was missing, and repeated attempts to reach them had been unsuccessful.
Following the report, a joint investigative team comprising personnel from the Missing Persons Unit, the Anti-Armed Robbery Unit, and the Crime Scene Management Team took over the case.
Police say the team visited the couple’s residence and carried out several inquiries, which resulted in the arrest of two suspects whose identities have been withheld to protect ongoing investigations.
The suspects are currently assisting the police as investigators continue their search for the missing couple.
Meanwhile, the police have called on the public to volunteer any credible information that could help trace the whereabouts of Dr Amuah and his wife, urging that such information be reported to the nearest police station.
