The late herbal doctor, Dr Felix Antwi Dankwa
The wife of renowned herbalist Dr Felix Antwi Dankwa and two others have been remanded in connection with a suspected arson incident at Kasoa in the Central Region that claimed the life of the 67-year-old herbal doctor.
The deceased, who was the Chief Executive Officer of Antwi Herbal, died after a fire gutted his residence, which also served as a clinic, on the night of Monday, August 10, 2026.

The three suspects were arrested following investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fire.
They have since been put before the court and remanded as investigations continue.
According to reports, the fire broke out at the premises at a time when the deceased was at the residence.
Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service were called to the scene to battle the blaze, but Dr Antwi Dankwa reportedly died in the incident.
The late herbal doctor was recently recognised by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for his contribution to the promotion of herbal medicine.
