The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at approximately 10:51 am, according to the timestamp visible on the recording.

The video, originally shared by Volta Joy TV and sighted by GhanaWeb on X on September 7, 2026, shows the boys entering the shop, which stocks household goods, bags, clothing and other items.
One of the boys approaches the counter area while the other remains nearby.
Moments later, both boys exit the shop in haste. The shop attendant or owner is seen emerging shortly afterwards and gesturing in the direction the boys had taken.
An on-screen message in the video displays a telephone number, indicating an appeal for information that could assist in identifying those involved.
