Ghanaians in New England prepare to celebrate Ghana’s 50th Independence Anniversary.

Ghanaians in New England are making feverish preparation to celebrate Ghana’s 50th Independence Anniversary with great enthusiasm. A breakfast meeting with the Ambassador and potential investors will be held in the morning, followed by a dinner dance on March 17, 2007 at Mount Carmel (Coca- Cola), 30 Olde Roberts Street in East Hartford, Connecticut to climax the Independence Anniversary Celebrations.
The guest of Honor at this function is His Excellency, Dr. Kwame Bawuah Edusei, Ghana Ambassador to the United States. The Ambassador in a historic visit to New England will also be the guest of honor at an interdenominational church service and a luncheon in Worcester Massachusetts on March 18, 2007. All Ghanaians and friends of Ghana are cordially invited to these functions.
