Latest information reaching The aL-haJJ indicates a member of the New Patriotic Party has been stabbed in the United Kingdom. To many this is Nana’s mantra of all-die-be-die being staged by the opposition New Patriotic Party in far away London.
The incident occurred last week when the husband of NPP UK communication team member, ObaaYaa of Dalston, allegedly used a bottle to stab Naasei, also a member of the UK and Ireland branch of the party. The victim of the stabbing was suspected of having an affair with Obaa Yaa.
This paper gathered that, the stabbing incident happened last Saturday, May 28 during the 15 years anniversary celebration of hotdigitalonline Fm at Broad Water Farms community Centre in in the UK.
Even though the facts of the incidents are still sketchy, a source in the UK disclosed to this paper that “Obaa Yaa of Dalton was present at the event to support other members of NPP UK to make a donation when word came that her husband has stabbed another member of NPP UK with a bottle.” The victim is said to be responding to treatment and that his life was not in danger.
Obaa Yaa’s husband, a Dagomba who works with White Chapel Hospital also known as, Royal London Hospital, was said to have accused Naasei of flirting with the garrulous NPP UK communicator for more than two years.
The information was that Naasei has severally been confronted by Obaa Yaa’s husband over allegations that he has been sleeping with his wife, a claim the stabbed victim was said to have vehemently denied.
The source however, could not confirm whether Obaa Yaa’s husband has been handed over to the police, but The aL-hAJJ has been told the unfortunate incident is known to leading members of NPP UK and Ireland who are reported to be working assiduously to keep it away from the media.
Meanwhile, leading members of the NPP in United Kingdom have intervened to resolve the problem between Naasei and Obaa Yaa’s husband. But, the latter is reported to have indicated that the only solution to the feud between them was for Naasei to stop seeing his wife.
According to the source, “though Obaa Yaa’s husband has not provided any evidence to prove that his wife and her colleague communicator were bedfellows, he has been persistent with his threats until last weekend when the issue resulted into to the unfortunate incident”.
The woman at the center of the controversy, Obaa Yaa, has also denied ever dating Naasei. She is alleged to have said that, she has good working relationship with Naasei as communications team members to further the course of NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo, but not as lovers.
Obaa Yaa is a Nana Akufo-Addo loyalist. She is noted for her uncouth vitriolic attacks on persons who disagreed with Nana Akufo-Addo. Some high profile personalities who have suffered from her missiles include President Mahama, former President Kufuor, Otumfuo Osei Tutu, Kwadwo Mpiani and many others. Stay tuned.
