I don’t think it is months. It might have been a typographical error. Rape of a minor of that age in Canada are not treated with kids gloves. He deserves twenty five years imprisonment with Hard Labor.

I beleive it is not a typo if we consider the wording of the charge. For instance what is "sexual inteference"?

The meaning of sexual assault in the Western word can mean anything. It depends on what the female FEELS.

On commuting to and from home to work, i find a seat away from any female or young girls as a necessity. It is after i scan and can't find any seat away from a female that i sit by one.

You will find many men doing the same.

There are these laws in the Western world with low punitive terms because it is not actually sexual assault but that the female felt that something has happened which it may not have. The jurisprudence therefore is that they pass some low level offence for prosecutors to succeed in prosecuting these low level or nearly non existent sexual offences.

For example there is a creation of laws on LEERING. It means that looking at a female for some few seconds can result in that female feeling your gaze is unpleasant, malicious, or unwanted sexually suggestive.

For this man to be jailed for 18 months, i therefore think the young girl felt at the relevant time.

My point is that the Western world has legislated the society where definitions have changed to meet the needs of some interested parties. Not that sexual assault is not occurring.
