  Brilliant....I hope some politician in the US would read this. I know they have heard this argument over and over again, but if people around the world are beginning to think like some Americans do, probably that might help. American is the greatest nation on earth and yes, they are becoming a sick nation. For a record, am Canadian.

  Yes, you are absolutely correct that the US is becoming a sick nation. I am African American and just returned from Ghana 5 weeks ago,where in spite of the nations struggles appeared a kinder and gentler society than the US. Where you are incorrect is thinking that President Obama is truly concerned about gun violence, families or the mental health of the youth. He is from Illinois where I live and though the Newtown tragedy was devestating, young Black men are being killed in much higher numbers on a regular basie, in the President's own state and he has yet to speak a word about it. Regarding violence President Obama aggressively promotes the murder of unborn babies so when he gives an emotional plea against gun violence, I feel that he is talking out of both sides of his mouth. America is truly sick and make no mistake about it, President Obama is making it a great deal sicker.
