Professor Danso-Boafo is is a decent person, who deserves the best. In 1982 he was full of support for the PNDC when the new government needed such support. While teaching at the University of Ghana he came into contact with Professor John Evans Atta Mills and Flt Lt. Rawlings.Rawlings later introduced him again to vice president Mills while on a visit to Canada. Mills and Rawlings respected him for his integrity and loyalty to Ghana.
He campaigned for the John Mahama in the last elections and my opinion is that it is oponents of progress in Ghana who want Mahama to remove him and replace him as they are saying in London with 'a northerner'. President Mahama do not fall into this dirty trap. Forward to a united country.

I took the trouble to visit modernghana.com and read the said article the writer is responding to. It is indeed a scurrilous one which shouldn't be coming from any sane NDC supporter at this time when the party is in court to defend their win, and moreso, when there is so much need to heal the pervasive divisiveness that characterised their last 4 years in power.

I didn't get what the Prof. did wrong to deserve the attack, except that he didn't work though the NDC chapter but some individuals in it. In what ways, he did not say. Of course, he could only liaise with the rcognised Executives on party matters only.

Some comments I read are rather blaming the Dep. Commissioner for being behind whatever problems the NDC/N Ireland Chpt has with the High Comm.

The Comm. works for all Ghanaians, not only NDC members, so what the heck are those people assuming? Please, NDC members, give us a break from your nonsensical and farcical in-fighting!

High Commissioners and Ambassadors are sent to various countries to represent the entire citizenry of their home countries and not political party aparachiks only. Even though they may have their individual political affiliations, they represent the entire country as long as they remain at post. I am highly impressed and proud to have this man as my High Commissioner after reading this piece. It is only ignorant folks who think he should only be serving his political bed fellows. Leave the Prof alone to serve his country.

The Professor was sent to the UK by Mills. Mills died. This is a political appointment. Mahama is his own man. We have never had a Northener as Ghana's ambassador to the UK.

Let us give other talented people a chance.

The man is a sly guy. Dig deep and you will realise that he has served his term. Here is a guy who will bed anyone in skirt. How many kids does he have and with how many different women? What has he been up to since he came? Why does he like to attend events on his own or with his staff member/members? Where is his wife?

How does a professor support a tyrant and a dictator? Has he no morals?
