When you talk about the nation wrecks at the Passport Offices, please look into your own cupboard first. If you are not one of such people, then good on you and God bless you. I estimate that a majority of Ghanaians are in one way or the other screwing the country up. Taking what they can take by whatever means possible. Please see my comments on the FDA's recent warning about fake drugs (pasted below).

"The FDA "wants the public to be on the lookout." How? Isn't the FDA supposed to be a watchdog! Now, just like Ghanaians own their own electric utilities and water companies, they have to run they own drug watchdogs. Oh my mother Ghana! Oh mother Africa!

Look, people, if this isn't murder, then what is? How a black man can look in the mirror and say it's ok to sell fake drugs to my fellow human being, would have been unbelieveable had similar behaviours not been occurring in so many spheres of the Ghanaian/African society. We are the laughing stock of the world. When we hear about the Tuskegee syphilis experiment, we think that this sought of inhuman wickedness is no longer in existence. But it is a "normal" part of Ghanaian life today. Is this where the Black human condition has descended.

Of course, the political and bureaucratic classes are busy "chopping", so all they can do is to issue "lookouts". Listen, our continent/country is slowly dying. Everyone is murdering everyone a bit. From armed robbers through the church industry (oh Ghana! the church business!), to "businessmen/women".

Now the politicians are fighting about "pink slips". Isn't this just a case of "you cheated more than I cheated, so let's replay the match"?

What we really need is a National Day of Shame where we can all confess our wicked acts and instead of asking for forgiveness and going back to our old ways, we just begin to do the right thing.
