  Don't waste your precious time on these people. Nothing good is going to come out of this. You still going to pay high duties to clear your goods at Tema and Takoradi Harbors. They don't think about you.

  Friday, this has been a long-standing problem and a thorn on the side of those of us living outside Ghana. Complaints were made to even Mills but he justified it as a means of boosting government revenues until the tax base in the country is broadened. Of course, he died without his government even initiating anything to broaden the base. Telling anybody in authority in Ghana about high taxes levied on overseas Ghanaian would be like talking to a tree. Frankly, I think the town hall meeting will be a joke and a total waste of time; trust me, nothing will come out of it.

  Oh Ghana Our Motherland , After our Past leaders, Mothers, fathers, sisters brothers,uncles had toiled with their blood to deliver the nation from slavery, why is current leaders practicing bad politics to denounce the nation wealth,favour,achievement,dignity back into the hands of the whiteman. Kwame Nkrumah made history not Politics, he set Standard and knowledge, not shamed.Our nation is not picking up after all this years.Why do we mine gold, fuel ,Timber, diamond, bauxite,rubber, palm, coconut,cocoa ,manganese and still suffer. All this due to bad leaders, selfish, lack of knowlegde.Ghanaians let open our eyes and the future will be bright and stop chasing the time to goto uk, canada, usa, .......holand and still nothing better home.   New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate in the 2012 election, Nana Akufo-Addo has stated that considering the current economic situation in the country under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, “the NPP remains the only hope for Ghanaians.”
  
  “I am sure you all know what is happening in Ghana. The mismanagement of the country’s economy has left the economy in disarray” he said.
  
  Addressing hundreds of Ghanaians during the second anniversary of the Nana Addo Ladies Club, in the United Kingdom (UK), Nana Akufo-Addo admonished members of the New Patriotic Party “to do everything possible to win back political power in 2016.”
  
  Because, “in an era where poverty has kept many children outside the classroom, there is a need for the NPP to come to power so that we can implement the free public school education to enable children to go to school.”
