  Yeah right!! All these "hogwash" stories. I have also seen and heard of people that return to Ghana and wanted to come back to "aburokyire". The unecessary road blocks prevent us to return. A common signature will take one month to sign because boss/manager is not available. Please spare us!

  Akosua. I will not be as harsh as you but your point is correct in part. There needs to be a more balanced presentation of how it can go well or how it can go badly. The issue is very simple. Ghanaians do not use their disposable income the same way it is used in the West. Ghanaians will spend on homes, cars, food and drink. Outside of those areas you really have to get lucky and meet the right people. Not everyone is lucky in terms of who they meet. Even the core areas I have listed have become a bit flooded. Housing: everyone is a real estate agent; Cars: everyone is clearing cars at the port to sell; Food and Drink: everyone is opening a restaurant or catering. They should not present "pie in the sky" pictures and also discuss the negatives.
