I will like to congratulate our Brothers from the Akuapim area in gathering in these most colorful ways. All Ghanaians must learn from this. We are all Ghanaians and we need to pull our resources together to help Mother Ghana. Together we can build a better nation. Long live Peace in Ghana. Long live our President.

Its all nice but what was achieved. Do these chiefs have to travel all the way from Ghana to New Jersey to showcase there is peace in Akwapim. Let them demonstrate it there.
Who created the lack of peace in the fist place. Isn't it the same Chiefs. These Chiefs need to be admonished instead of glorified.
In the meantime Akwapim is in shambles. Poor JSS and SSS scores, lack of employment, high school drop out rates, prostitution, increasing teenage pregnancy rates, high HIV prevalence, hooliganism, high drug use etc, etc.
I am sure OKUSACA means well but it must spend its effort on programs that will directly benefit the people of Akwapim to alleviate some of these problems instead of forever glorifying these chiefs

I believe it wasn't just people in Kente etc walking up and down the hotel hallways or making silly jokes at a picnic in the park. This is a piece by someone whose writing skills do not extend beyond a noun, a verb and "rich culture". By the way is this the official report of the Okusaca secretariat? Score it C minus. Go read the report on the CEANA convention. Though too long and wordy, it has some substance.
