When I was a graduate student at Princeton, in my first year, I visited Bronx where my sister was living in the same apartment complex with Prof Kofi Awoonor. At the time, he was lecturing part time at Columbia and pursuing his final ph.d. dissertation. What I remember about him is that he would often speak FANTI to my sister encouraging her to be closer to his wife rather than the other gullible, gossipy Ghanaians in the same complex because he found my sister articulate and educated.

I spoke often with him in Fanti and he was full of excitement whenever Ghana came up. Even at that time he did not look that old; I am surprised that he was 78.

May he rest in peace - those who knew him up close really considered him classy and he fitted into many Ghanaian ethnic groups because he spoke so many Ghana languages.... it was always difficult to pin him as an Ewe. His English was nothing like an ewe accent!!!

Hey people can someone do us a favor by giving a raw statistical data on the number of NPP supporters who had and under going heart treatment since after the verdict by the Supreme Court. Yes!! I came across a good number of them and their body languages said it all.

Are you more human than anyone else who doesn't belong to your tribe? In this century, I thought many of us would have seen the light to be called civilized citizens of Ghana. But your comments make people, including myself sick. It's a complete shame for your to sit behind the internet to post make such silly remark.

I don't believe any true NPP supporter will make such a disparaging comments about Prez. John Mahama. I am not a fan of the Prez. or the party that he belong, but I will never attempt to depreciate his tribe or land of his birth, thinking I'm an Akuapem so I'm supposed to be better than anyone from the North. These are the reasons why Nana Akufo-Addo is fighting for every Ghanaian to have Free Quality Education so these things won't exist in our system anymore. Get some life and stop this bullshit!

The NDC will soon tell the whole world that the NPP is tribalistic and even attempt to link our party leaders and Nana Akufo-Addo & Co., to it. Please for the sake of National Unity and Progress, stop the bullshit before it gets too late! Every Ghanaian is proud of his roots and so shall it remain. You may criticize Prez. John Mahama on every issue, but not his tribe. I hope I make sense.

many private universities are being established to supplement that of the ploys' and the public universities and all of em' are doing humanities.
we have thousands of SSS and JSS as well as university graduates who cannot find jobs
govt expenditure has been almost 60% towards the satisfaction of the single spine.
no meaningful development in terms of project n the country.
almost 70% of all university ans SSS graduates wants to enter the Nursing, Police, Immigration, Military.prisons and etc.
in 10yrs time if measures are not taken, to reverse the collapsing economy, Tunisia and Egypt could occur in Ghana.
