  I applaud your good works and hope people learn from this, however, anything to do with individuals with developmental disabilities should be done with ultimate respect.
  
  Where I am, a written or verbal consent from their parents is needed before you can publish any pictures of people with any disabilities.
  
  I hope you will break free from your counterparts in Africa who are used to do things haphazardly. Thank you.

  It tears my heart to know that communities and families still treat these beautiful and special children this way. Personally, I became interested in autistic children as I began reflecting on my experience. I felt the need to research on autistic children and had every intention of researching on these sensitive cases. I am no more in Ghana but reading this article makes me feel that I should still walk in the part I started where ever I find myself. So in effect, continue with the good work.
