the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation . We did not ask for this war but we will fight it and be victorious as God is with us . Long live the Republic of Akan

Secondly I guess your abilities alone should not detemine who qualifies for a position but should be backed by experience( which can only be attained by working within similar capacities). So far we have seen these harsh appoinments fail in other areas already, and has resulted in creating a lot of mess.

I know the High Commissioners and deputies are political posiitons that is why you have Victor Smiths and co there. My brother people are struggling to survive. What at all is hapening in Ghana? Why Mahama alone? Why not K4? Why not Colonel Acheampong? The reason is corruption is worse in NDC era.

There are political appointees/appointments and there is professional staff in each government institution. Smart governments do not try to interfere with the professional structures and thus stick to ambassadorial level appointments. Anyone insinuating that every position at the ministry of foreign affairs, or for that matter any department of government, is fair game need to go back and read about standards and or past practices. Yes Mahama and his people do have the latitude to do whatever it is they please but they must also know in politics you are as good as the number of allies or loyalists you have and can count on.

Out of 9 positions (one vacant) 4 are political appointees. Some of the choice countries, UK, Unesco, Japan, Spain were given to political bebefacores. No one has complained. It is not true that Ambassadorial positions are based on patronage. For a flagship mission, it has always been the position that the top post is political. However the second post is given to a career Diplomat who steers the affairs of the mission.

This appointment, if it is true will clearly show Ghanaians that you only care about a few " not fit for purpose lot" who you are determined to elevate to high positions.London is your flagship mission and must be staffed by competent and experienced people. The party did not elevate another person above you when it came to filling the position Prof left. How would you feel if this has happened to you?
I am not a political animal and try to be as objective as much as possible. However this stinks!!!!! It is clear nepotism at its best. Your attempt to fill government positions with your family members and kinsmen will surely bring a division in the country.You will loose the support of objective minded Ghanaians. Rescind this appointment immediately and issue a statement concerning this matter.
