Whether he is ashanti or fanti or nzema or dangomba, I really dont care. In the early 2000s, a Ga boy topped the british O-level and A-Level. It never really matterred whether he was Ga or Dagomba. So anybody can be blessed. God has truly blessed him indeed but to suggest that God blessed him because he the guy is humble is not true. He is not the only humble guy in the world. Why aren't they all going Yale or where ever.

We congratulate this Ghanaian but we must hasten to caution that this is not the first time. A few Ghanaians who went to school in Ghana and applied from Ghana were also accepted into all ivy league institutions.

All schools look for top grades (well, and political connections and a cinch of financial independence) to admit students, who, because they are press-shy, are not in the United States or have parents who are too humble and/or poor to boast it up to the world, make their quiet choices.

Lots of Ghanaian kids do get top grades, (or used to, at least in my time), get evaluated by the same grade-rigorous standards of the schools, and then get admitted without the noise, so your insults aren't well founded.

You are really the TOO KNOWN here.

He is not pooh-poohing Enin's achievements. He is only saying other Ghanaian kids have been similarly successful.

Whether he is wrong or right, you and Turkey don't know that.

Nothing wrong with Turkey asking him to prove it, but he is out of decency insulting him with such revulsion just because he, The Mask, dared educate those who might be unaware, that such feats have been precedented.
That's my point.

People who truly, earnestly and sincerely BELIEVE in their hearts (and I do not mean PRETEND) that they are first achievers ought to be corrected if there's a precedent, because nobody knows everything.

That's how we get educated about events that are not unique to us.

There are many kids in Ghana who wants an opportunity to just learn? I did and I am fortunate to be studying in a country that pushes me forward -America.

Ghana as a country tries to help, but Ghanaians themselves are gripped with the disease of jealousy and despondency.

I was once #1 in my JSS class and on my report was written that "He has a bright future."
But another teacher mocked that, "let's see when he meets the fun in SSS...", in my face.
