Are Hajj participants aware of MERS? Well Ghanaians should be careful and wisely suspend this year's Hajj due to this virus. This virus has no cure and lots of people have died in Saudi Arabia. This virus's origin is the Middle East. I will encourage my Hajj brothers and sisters to forgo this year's Hajj to prevent any spread of the virus. Our healthcare system is in shambles. Prevention is better than cure! I hope the Ministry of Education will educate Hajj participants on this.

Haj is an individual prerogative. It should never have been managed by the state anyway. Not every muslim will go on a haj and the choice of religious persuation and how one choses to practice their religion is an individual ...

Haj is an individual prerogative. It should never have been managed by the state anyway. Not every muslim will go on a haj and the choice of religious persuation and how one choses to practice their religion is an individual choice government should not dabble in. Government has not business managing or charging haj pilgrims. It should be managed by the National Imam and his office. There is not provision in the constitution to support the management of haj by the government of Ghana. It is purely a political event aimed at winning moslem votes by successive governments. Any government body should be abolished forthwith.

1. How much is the plane ticket to and from Saudi to Ghana?
2. How much is the cost of Hotel per day/night in Saudi?
3. How many days are the pilgrims spent in Saudi?
4. Cost of Visa to Saudi
5. All other expenses.
