Please be a little circumspect when you make statements on the web. You could have done some research about the association to find out if it existed prior to your careless "scam" utterance. I bet there are many Ghanaian professional associations in the east coast states that you know nothing about.
I believe that potential donations to the family has been adversely affected due to your statement.

Ghanaian Pharmacists Association, is an established association of Ghanaian pharmacists living in USA at the Washington metro area including the states of Maryland and Virginia and Washington DC. The gofundme link isn't working, because the word "donate" was added. We will try and get it fixed asap. As fellow pharmacists we want to do something to help Michael's wife, daughter and parents left behind back home in Ghana and that was why this memorial fund was established, so once again this isn't a scam. If this reputable association is a scam, why is that contact information has been provided and also the website. Please, how on earth do you want to degrade an association of trained U.S based pharmacists in the states of MD, DC, and VA like that. I can't believe, a person would like to destroy such an important step to assist the family of a fellow country man. I guess you are not a Ghanaian then, otherwise you will not write such a comment.
