QUESTION 2: Were the new officers APPOINTED, or they were ELECTED?

The old executive were invited, but they refused to attend. The former president, Nii Tetteh Okoso Mensah is known by everyone to stand for an election if and only if he is standing UNOPPOSED.

Nice to hear something nice from you guys (Gadangmes) for a change. Usually all we read here is chaos and confusion with chieftancy matters in your areas. Please send deligation to your cheifs and get them to sort themselves out because they are fighting too much over supremacy, Who is Who in Accra. You guys should get rid of that "mi dzi mi" attitude and focus on what you can do for your people, not what you can get from selling lands. The land is God's gift to you people and you should organis it well.

This new executive should begin by educating your elders to think of their people first and not themselves. All the fighting for "post" will not get you guys anywhere so there is a big job for you guys to do get your people out of this mess. Other tribes are doing very well and in prominent posts in Ghana. Stop the blame culture and get your act together by focusing on your people as a whole, not individuals.

I was born in Dodowa and lived all my life in greater Accra so i class myself as gadangme but what you guys are doing over chieftancy and land is very destructive. Please new executive, please build this organisation for the benefit of all us, although technically I am not Ga I see myself as one of you. God Bless you all!!!

GaDangme Europe (GDEu) Annual Conference/AGM 2014 &
Election of GDEu Officers

With great pleasure and enthusiasm the GDEu Trustee Board formally notify GaDangme Bii/Li resident in the Diaspora especially (those residing in Europe & United States/Canada) about the impending GDEu 2014 Annual conference/AGM and elections of new GDEu officers to handle the affairs of the organization for the next Two years, at Zaragoza, in Spain on Friday 17th October 2014 and on Saturday the 18th, October the Zaragoza branch of the GDEu would be inaugurated.
We hope with this early notification of the coming event would encourage and enhance active participation by all GaDangme bii/Li residing in the Diaspora and beyond.
We also intend to send out formal invitation letters to GDEu affiliated associations and individuals who may require further relevant information and assistance to attend the annual conference/AGM at Zaragoza, in Spain.
Furthermore, in the very near future the GDEu secretariat shall be making public, the Programme for the planned activities for the two (2) days conference in October this year.
We look forward to your full participation and contribution in making this year’s Annual Conference/AGM an event to remember!!

Reading between the lines there is no difference between what you guys are doing in the Diaspora and what your tradional leaders are doing back home.

When are you people going to see the light.This is disgraceful and a slurr on all your people abroad and home. You guys need to bow your heads in shame especially the guy who posted as PRO for your organisation. I can sense a man full of ego. Why can't you guys tell him a PRO does not behave the way he is doing.

I have always been proud to be associated with Dodowa although my parents are not dangmes. But I am glad i didnt make further inquiries about your organisation to join you. You guys have come abroad to learn something and take back home and look at what you guys are doing. The guys in Ghana are better than you lot. what a waste of time coming to Europe. This PRO guy must go back home because his attitude is really appalling. I have lived in Dodowa long enough to know that yur people back home are much more civilised than than what you are showing here. I am disappointed and ashamed for you guys. You are an embarrassment to the ga and dangme people. You are a sick people thats why every government ignores gas and dangmes when they come to power. Now I understand why governments ignore you. They can't unite the Gadangmes in the Diaspora and come out with meaningful projects. A declaration was written against them and they fail to challenge it meaning they accepted it. Now they are trying to divide the GDEu like they have divided the family houses back at home.The PRO and the Past executives are disgracing the Gadangme people. They should think twice.It is not the case of aaye le moni yeo but to think of the welfare of Gadangme People.
