Ghana govt should purchase tickets in block and distribute to Ghanaians in Toronto. Of course, some will even buy their own tickets as well to boost the number. 3,000 tickets @ $20 will cost Ghana govt only $60,000 and that's it. Probably, the Ghana consular office in Toronto can even raise this amount.

1. Sponsored fans who want to come to Canada to support the team must foot 1/4th or 1/2 of the overall amount needed for their upkeep. Nothing should be free just like that!
2. Provide free tickets for Ghanaian fans for pickup at the main gate of the stadium. If you show up with ids that shows your Ghanaian name, or wearing Ghanaian jersey or paraphernalia. You get a free ticket.
This will.cut down on the unnecessary monies we throw away. Then go to imf for loans? Idiots!

He should rather direct his suggestion to the Government and not to the Canadian embassy. Canada cannot and should not be allowed to unilaterally decide to deprive legitimate Ghanaian citizens visas. If Canada is doing this, FIFA should take note and penalize the Canadians for abusing their powers and denying visas for Africans. Will Canada deny visas the same way for supporters from european countries? This is becoming racial profiling and outright racism. White people will not be treated that way and Ghanaians should also not accept this nonsense. But then of course you have a government that is only interested in stealing not building national institutions to safeguard the rights of ordinary Ghanaians.
