The picture is gloomy as the US economy gathers more steam to strengthen the dollar and hold the price of gold down.
Is John Mahama up to the onerous task of restoring Ghana to her enviable pre-NDC era of 15.9% GDP growth rate?
I doubt it.He seems to be at the end of his wits.
With inflation at 17%,my guess is another round of labour agitation for more money to compensate for the high cost of living and reduction in real incomes in 2015.This will further push up the bank rate and,subsequently,interest rates.Thereby,making it difficult to borrow money by the manufacturing industries.
Well, let's hope that the IMF bailout comes to soothe our wound and heal it instead of aggravating it.

What rollercoaster are you talking about? It was all down hill in Ghana in 2014. Nothing but corruption in high places in Ghana. There were GYEEDA,SADA,NSS,SUBAH and then the famous Woyome gate.
