Are you serious? I am in no way an Nkrumahist but to say that tribalism in Ghana started with Nkrumah is being mischievously disingenuous. Nearly all nations in the world are partitioned one way or the other into regions, provinces, districts, states or what have you, in order to facilitate governance and that has nothing to do with tribalism. If you care to know, before Nkrumah's era the British colonial government had already divided the country into four major territories which were the Northern territories, Ashanti, the Gold Coast colony and the Trans-Volta Togoland. The Gold Coast colony was then further divided into Provinces thus; the Eastern Province, the Central Province and the Western Province.
In regard to the school fees issue you have again misfired: Nkrumah did not offer the free education policy to the North for tribal reasons. You may consult any well educated elder in your neighborhood for the reason he did if you do not want to read. Nkrumah would have extended that gesture or opportunity to the people of the western region if the only reason he promulgated the policy for the North were tribalism. Nkrumah had his very serious faults alright but he was the one person who held the country together as a nation. You have the right to dislike him or even hate him for whatever reason but please do not ascribe to him the ills that are truly not his making.

From the inception of the fight for independence in Ghana, Bawumia’s father was one of the strong leaders of the then “Northern People’s Party”. Bawumia’s father realized very quickly that a separatist party, ethnic based and narrowly focused party is a recipe for and to disaster and failure.

So, what did he, Bawumia’s father, and those courageous Northern leaders do? They abandoned their narrow focus, joined Kwame Nkrumah to fight for freedom, justice and independence for all Ghana. Yes, they did, and Bawumia’s father was not only Northern Regional Minster after John Mahama’s father, our own Hon E. A. Mahama, he was drafted into Nkrumah’s cabinet.

Folks, I want to remind everybody about my writings on Aliwu Mahama and the NPP in the GANA egroup, when the NPP was in power. I remember Shiraz Ibrahim, my own uncle, getting on my case and accusing me that I was too hard on the Kuffuor Regime than the Rawlings Regime. But, that was not my point.

My point was that, NPP had used and continued to use Aliwu Mahama as bait to catch Northern votes for NPP, period, nothing more and nothing less. I also predicted very clearly that NPP would never consider Aliwu Mahama as a Presidential Candidate after Kuffuor’s second term.

Folks, true to my words, NPP did exactly that. In fact NPP said Aliwu Mahama did not even have an NPP party card, let alone dream of becoming a Presidential Candidate for NPP.

Today, history is repeating itself in the person of Dr. Bawumia. Dr. Bawumia is not a lawyer yet, his boss, Akufo Addo, who is a lawyer, did not have the guts to litigate his own case against NDC before the Supreme Court of Ghana; instead he made Dr. Bawumia to do his dirty work for him.

Folks, under normal circumstances, one would expect Akufo Addo to step down and give way to other leaders in the Party, specifically to give Dr. Bawumia a chance as the NPP Party’s Presidential candidate, after having failed twice to capture the Presidency. But, not surprising to me, NPP leadership would prefer the wounded, wasted and the “never will win the Presidency in Ghana”, in the person of Akufo Addo again to stand as their Presidential Candidate.

You know, I remember someone saying that sometimes my writings go down into primitive times to elucidate a point. You see, there is a big saying in Ashanti that, they will prefer to over eat and get sick, rather than waste leftovers. Yes, the same applies here. NPP will rather lose the elections three times than allow a PEPE man in the name of Bawumia to lead heir party. TRUE!!!

NPP is just like the Republicans in the US. Both are so stupid there is nothing to compare to on earth. The Republicans are so angry Obama, a black man, is President of the US that they cannot even argue any point coherently. For example, when Obama adopted the Republican Health Care Plan for America, instead of single payer system, called now Affordable Health Care Plan, all the Republicans turned against it. So, they call it Obamacare. Good enough.

What is ridiculous is that, Republicans say they like the Affordable Healthcare Plan and will repeal Obamacare. Racism and prejudice has blinded the Republicans so much that they will listen to idiots like Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Rubio of Florida. In fact, Senator Rubio of Florida raised his stupidity to a higher level. Senator Rubio has gone as far as to advocate and encourage America to strangulate Cubans, his own people, just because Obama wants normal relations with Cuba and also lift the economic blockade on the Cuban people.

Folks, enough for the similarities when it comes to idiosyncrasies among Republicans of the US and NPP of Ghana. You see, Akufo Addo cannot even stand up for five minutes on his own legs. In fact Akufo Addo cannot even remember his own name. How can such an idiot, wasted, sorry ass man lead a great Nation like Ghana? But, the politics of tribalism, for which Ashantis are known for, will always cloud their sensibilities.

Folks, they did it to Kwame Nkrumah. The UP, the Party of Danquah and Busia went to the Queen of England to beg her not to grant Independence to Ghana because; according to their calculations they could not beat Kwame Nkrumah. History is repeating itself here over and over again with this no good tribalists, who have sabotaged efforts of Ghanaians to progress since the fight for independence. Today, Bawumia is in the front lines, supposedly leading a million persons’ match against our illustrious son John Mahama.

Bawumia let me ask this question: Are you stupid or just plain foolish, or both? I suspect both!!!

Bawumia let me tell you again, in plain Gonja language: You will never be nominated as Presidential Candidate for NPP. You better do like your father did; namely, cross the carpet and come and join John Mahama to move Ghana forward. Don’t rot way in NPP, Bawumia! Don’t become the biggest Ashanti stooge in the history of Ghana. Aliwu wished he had listened to me. You will find out.

So Folks, let’s organize around a true National Party under the leadership of this Gonjaman called John Dramani Mahma to move Ghana ahead. Let Bawumia waste his time on the streets of Kumasi with his hooligans, and let’s organize to win 2016 for John Mahama.
