Now the declaration and the stand of the Ghanaian Presbyterian Churches affiliated with the PCUSA is clear. Those Ghanaian churches who take advantage of the situation to condemn and criticize their own brothers because of this affiliation should know that they do not help the mission of the church: "That All May Be One"! Remember, you are NOT holier than your brother!

Please Umar, what you're saying is untrue. The Bible is clearly against same sex marriage. Tell me the part of Ezekil which advises Christians to do same sex marriage.

Our Lord Jesus Christ will NOT embrace gays and lesbians who 'accept the Lord and do good in His name'.

Our Lord Jesus Christ will embrace every one who acknowledges his or her sinful ways(including gays and lesbians) and repent of them.

The Kingdom of God has no accommodation for sinners (Revelation 22.15)

Also churches cannot make mockery of the significance of Baptism which is an integral part of Salvation.

Baptism comes after repentance, in accordance with the WORD OF GOD. So let me take opportunity and say that members should champion this course.

Fasting and prayers ought to be made, asking the Lord for forgiveness on such issues.

Alter calls are to be made to challenge people to receive Christ, as Lord and Personal Savior.

Such believers are then to be Baptized(by immersion).

Let no one be deceived. When missionaries of some denominations came with the Gospel, this(infant Baptism) is one of the comprise that came along with it.

People have a watered or compromising way of justifying the practice.

However, the Lord knows why HE said WHOEVER believes should be baptized.
How can a child believe? Heed to what Christ has said, not what has been the compromising practice of the Church.

Babies are to be dedicated to the Lord, not 'Baptized'. And they are to be Baptized when they come of age and believe the Gospel, for this is the assurance of Salvation.

As for the issue at stake, its needs no discussion or deliberation. The WORD of God is assuredly sure on the the matter.

Let us stand firm and aspire to be the Light of the world and the salt of the Earth, heeding the warning in Hebrew 1, for God has spoken to us in the person of his Son.

My comment is on the part about infant baptism; Infants are baptized with the expectation of a later CONFIRMATION WHEN THE CHILD GROWS UP.The churches that practice infant Baptism have teachings through their children's services and other training programs geared towards teaching the kids about the Gospel and then confirm their Baptism when they reach the appropriate age.Personally I think this makes a lot of sense.

I will leave the Presbyterian Church as soon as the Ghanaian branch join the PCUSA.
