You call this twerp a world-recognized leader? This man, who would not be elected a dog-catcher anywhere, has failed the residents of Accra has its mayor. The mayor owes it the residents of Accra an explanation of the city's failure to mitigate the annual flooding problems it faces. Given Okoe's monumental failure as a mayor, there is nothing of value he will bring to the conference.

Do you know if Mr. Okoe Vanderpuye lobbied to address the conference. Jeffrey Sachs was recently in Accra where he organised a conference at Milkin Hotel and I was there
Yeah that fake award he lobbied for and got. But as we say in Ghana God no be Alata man. The BEst African Mayor organised a conference of mayors after receiving the fake award and was greeted by the Accra floods and three days later another flood culminating into the Circle disasters. May those who lost their lives rest in peace

Please kindly advise the Holy See that allowing this type of politician -- amoral, obdurate, insensitive -- to use the Holy Platform will be an insult to the decent Catholics in Ghana. Please do a straw poll of Catholics in Ghana and see what you will come across. It is said that Vox Populi, Vox Dei. A word to the wise is enopugh.
