We can not dream beyond our mothers backs, we cannot fantasize. It is a crime against Ghanaian infants. Everyday all we hear about is Ghanaian attire Ghanaian wear, Friday wear, it seems as though someone somewhere knows how distressful these things are, so they simply want to force it on gullible citizens. WHy would anyone suggest to you what to wear if it really deserves being worn on it's own merit. Truth be known most Ghanaian fabrics are harsh on the skin, too colorful that they block out your existence or attention. No wonder Ghanaians make so much noise whenever they have conversations.

They need to live like their fellow countrymen. If Ghana were any good their father would not have run away from it. Why not make Ghanaian prisoners wear your preferred brands since you wanted them to vote instead of Ghanaians abroad?

Mahama and his Ayarigas should know that political position is never a permanent place. The way they openly show tribalism as against the majority ethnicity whose economic activities is the back bone of this nation is a serious an issue and likely to be counter productive against the northern people in the near future.

It's so annoying everywhere today its all northerners, in the civil service place, police, army, ministerial appointments, corporate board memberships, scholarship for our young graduates and even appointments to our foreign missions, as if Ghana all of a sudden is made of only people of the northern origin.

It's more outrageous and annoying to think of how we all rooted for Dr. Hillah Limann from the north without any tribal feeling but just feelings for better of country, Ghana and now this.

No wonder with bigotries coming from far north where civilization and human laws are absent and with primitive life styles our once dignified and enviable peaceful country is become security chaotic, lawlessness, crumbling with dumsor and industries collapsing as these people have no value for such national values.

Why have we left Ghana in the hands of such unethically uncultured riffraffs and people who act with motions without using their heads?

I bet Southern Ghanaians to travel up north to understand that these people are quiet different in character and especially environmental neatness, how could such lead us as nation to succeed?

Make Ghanaian wear preferred brand is not even the wise thing to say or about promoting Ghana made at an organized event as preferred brand could mean foreign brand as well, how typical of a northern idiot.

We should stop the free northern schooling and reserved scholarship for people of northern origin as they show signs of ungratefulness to the south whose economy activities survived such national favor.

Actually to me and many other Ghanaians, the way some people act, it appears as if some Akans think that they are the only ones in Ghana. It is annoying when some people think that Twi is the only language of any significance in Ghana. The language in Accra is Ga not Twi; I am sure when I go to Kumasi, no one would speak Ga or any other language to me. Everyone who comes to Accra should learn how to speak Ga; just like people who live in places like Kumasi should learn how to speak Twi. it is weird that people look at you strangely if you tell them that you do not speak Twi in Accra. Some have remarked that people who do not speak Twi are not Ghanaian. The nerve! If you ask me(from what I have observed,) among all the groups in Ghana, it is the Ashanti group that imposes itself on others, tries to dominate and does not learn other people's languages. So please do not complain, after all we are all Ghanaian. No group is more special than any other. Let us live in our country and try to make it better instead of fighting about trivial things such as ethnicity. If a white person make these comments about us we will scream racism.

Southern Ghana is Axim, Takoradi, Cape Coast Greater Accra, Ada and Ho. Central Ghana may be Kwahu and beyond, Middle Ghana is Ashanti and Brong Regions, and Northern Ghana comprises Tamale and parts of Ashanti Region then Wa, Bolgatanga and beyond. The south is not majority Akan, it has Nzema, Fanti, Ga, Ada, Krobo and Ewe populations. Northern Ghana has many dividing cultures and ethnicities, who are at luggarheads on one issue or the other. Same way the Akems and Ashantis don't agree on much and the Gas always fighting. Ghana is a highly multicultural, multilingual country, and there will never be a tribal war because whomsoever starts it will loose massively cause all others will come down on them first then they will go back to just hating each other.
