These selfseekers are doing everything possible to form a new group calling itself Asanteman of North America. Their vision is to create an Asante Kingdom in the US where there would be just one Asantefuohene of the United States, stationed somewhere in the East Coast.
Abusuafuo, let's tell them a big NO. Instead, if some of them are real royals to their various hometown stools, that's where they need them, not America here. ACONA is the only legal and recognized governing body of ALL ASANTES IN THE UNITED STATES/CANADA.
If Otumfuo is calling for UNITY IN COLUMBUS, OHIO, he called for a peaceful resolution to the issue, not a dubious and cunning enstoolment and coronation of a faction.
TO ALL GHANAIANS, both here in the United States, Canada, Europe, Ghana and the whole wide world, this so called enstoolment and coronation done in Columbus, OH was fraudulent. Its the first step to destroy the unity Asanteman is enjoying here in America.
If there is any way Otumfuo could be made aware of the situation here now, let him know that, very soon, the very solid Asanteman unity would be destroyed by this very group of people.
I will always continue to compare us to other tribal groups here like Council of Ewes in America(CEANA), Council of Brong Ahafos in North America(COBAANA), Fantes Association of North America(FANA), Nzema Association of North America(NANA) among others. These groups are so united that whatever they do go on successfully. Even, some locals of Asanteman, who have decided not to join Asanteman, but form their own Associations are doing wonders. For instance, Mampong Kontonkyi Kroye Kuo. Their unity of purpose and financial base is so great that, none of its members lacks behind.
What goes on in Asanteman as a group? LITIGATION throughout.
I would like Otumfuo to know that, in the not too far future, Asanteman Associations in the United States will totally collapse giving way to the establishment of local Asante towns associations. In Chicago here, we have Mampong Kontonkyi and Offinso area group functioning very well, even than the whole Asanteman association here. WHY??? Because of litigation, backbiting, hijacking of authority, pull him down and unnecessary stuff that do not promote unity of purpose of Asanteman in general. Because of the lack of unity, most people are not interested in joining us. They only need us for parties, funerals and other social functions, which we respond with vigour and grace.
Nananom Asanteman, let's wake up from our slumber and focus on Asanteman in general, instead of our selfish interest.
I rest my case. I will continue to serve the truth other than succumbing to lies and treachery.

For example, the Ashanti Kingdom wanted to break away & form a Federal State. Mr Krobo Edusei fought against this & ensured the Ashanti Kingdom voted for the CPP. Mr Krobo Edusei also played a prominent role in the formation of the Brong Ahafo Region in 1958.
