The fundamental duty of any government in the world is to provide peace and security for its citizens. This is why it controls the security agencies including the police and the army to carry out the duty religiously. So, it was the duty and responsibility of the NDC government to provide an environment conducive for free and fair elections devoid of any form of electoral malpractices or criminal activities. Therefore, Mr Mahama's incompetent and corrupt NDC administration should accept responsibility for failing to prevent what happened at Talansi and NPP headquarters, and not try to tell Ghanaians that they are only enjoy power without any responsibility.

This is nothing but diversionary tactic. I am no sympathizer of the incumbent Administration or its Party but such hallucinatory extrapolation must not be given any serious attention.

You are the branch of the NPP that has long been claiming some alignment of the Party with the Republican Party of the USA. Many Ghanaians even believe it was for that purpose that you chose the Elephant as your symbol to affirm such alignment to the USA Republicans, from whom you have been subtly soliciting support to boost Akufo-Addo's acceptance in the USA Political circles as America's best ally in Ghana.

The only similarity between you and the American Republicans is your shared 'hawkish' Bush-like Republicanism that predicates more on Reagan's Neo-Con mentality than the normal Conservativism.

Isn't that even ironic that the crime your model American Party's President was charged with is what you are claiming a victim to without any legal proof, or viable evidence?

Maybe, we can add the sense of entitlement to the Presidency that you guys ascribe to Akufo-Addo, as something you also share with the Bushes Republican Party faction.

Nevertheless, your incrimination of the Government in this characteristic assault within the NPP by disgruntled Party elements is way below the belt, and a risible attempt to cover up Akufo-Addo's failed leadership.
