Do you know Hyundai, Daewoo,Toyota, Honda and a whole lot more started that way ? Even today, the big auto manufacturers do not manufacture most of their parts. They design cars for sure and determine the specifications of parts that will ensure the desired performance. Parts manufactures then bid to supply them parts.I see anything nothing wrong with sourcing parts from China and assembling them in Ghana.

This is a good start from a visionary who needs to be encouraged to do more.

Mahama has failed to understand what a tremendous opportunity our dumsor plight presents to our nation.Instead of making efforts to find permanent solutions he opted to buy a pair of overpriced power bardges which will only relieve the dumsor stress very temporary.Inexhaustible Solar, wind and nuclear potentials can present a very permanent solution to our ever growing energy needs.Our Country's very location provides us with unlimited solar and wind potentials which can make any serious minded nation energy independent.Our nuclear plants looks like decorative landmarks as we refuse to even consider its full peaceful potentials.So why do we have them????? This isnt a made in ghana car considering the fact the engine is from mitsubishi, and all the body parts are imported from china. Everyone can assemble a car as long as all the parts are provided

It will be a financial suicide for the government to get involved in this. The company may be better placed partnering up with big name brands and producing parts for them.

I believe if the man really wants to hit the Ghanaian market, he should concentrate on the masses - that is where majority of the people can afford to buy. Hundai, Datsun, Honda all started that way. They did not beging producing for the rich, but for all and sundry.

Expensive cars like his own are analogous to ths Porsche, Lambourginis etc: they are EXTREME high quality, very expensive and not every body can afford.
