I met a young Ghanaian boy of the same age as Shapiro here in the USA with a typical Ghanaian name, and as a Ghanaian myself, I reached out to him, and he did all that he could to convince me that it's his parents that are from Ghana and not him. He seemed like one who was born in Ghanaian and brought here to the States, and now denying his roots. God bless this young Shapiro. I hope our Ghanaian children born here will emulate his example.

What an insult. Even if they are born in the USA of Ghanaian parents they should not be saying silly things of that nature. They are Ghanaian whether or not they have official papers to that effect! Which American children born abroad would want to diminish their American identity! I find it particularly annoying that African university students would have such a mentality, and I often take them on to educate them on their ignorance and childish arrogance!
