Why do you people always have to link the irresponsibility and incompetence of your fellow countrymen to partisan politics? The broken down passport printing machines may be due to the incompetence of workers and they should be blamed for that and not the NDC party. You don't solve problems that emanate from the lower levels by blaming the higher ups in this case the ruling party. I hope you live in the US and should realize that if the US passport office is unable to print passports, the head of the passport office will be blamed and not the Democratic Party

The president cannot be everywhere micromanaging every aspect of the government bureaucracy, hence the reason for appointing departments, etc. You should take the head of the passport office to task for the delay in issuance ...

The embassy should and can issue you with a legit travel document, under the circumstances. Are other embassies around the world issuing passports? Even in the homeland people are also clamoring over lack of passport booklets. You all deserve each other. Maybe they should get creative and start issuing PASSPORT CARDS, like credit card or drivers license to save money and such anomalies.

It has become clear to us in the US that the goverment of the NDC is behind the refusal and failure to issue new passports and renew old ones. What system is broken down that cannot be replaced or repaired in the US within minutes? The secret is that most of us are prepared to come down and register to vote in the coming elections and judging by the boiling sentiments here, the government knows that more of the votes will go against it and therefore the instruction to the embassy to frustrate our coming down. The frustration started in December; long before the registration so that no one will directly link it with it. These crude and primitive tactics will not wash - the die is already cast.

Imagine when the money will be release....same process down....

It's about time we grow up! throw away this bureaucratic practice and embrace contemporary and contingent managerial practices. There is the need to sweep the administration off of obsolete minds.

A TYPICAL PUBLIC SERVANT who is reaping where he/she has not sewn and is sits the whole day jobless as an unemployed graduate will take ABOUT THREE MONTHS TO APPROVE ONE DOCUMENT.

The Ghanaian must wake up!!! Whether an opposition or in power when given tasks perform it graciously for the growth of the nation....................................feeling sick about our mentality and understanding of democracy and power
