In the first place, all nations of the world are NOW using or are in the process of switching to biometric identity, Britain is no exception.

Secondly, if the UK really respected individualy privacy, you wouldn't see CCTV cameras in every corner of the UK, to the extent that teachers have tiny cameras as necklaces, that captures all that the kids do. Headmasters also have surveillance cameras in their offices so that they can control teachers. If you call that respect for individual privacy, you may have to get your head checked.

In Germany, you'ld hardly find CCTV cameras on corners of buildings, except at very very few places, because the citizens DO NOT WANT them and he law respects that.

I have noticed that you are always writing non-factual stories here, thinking that all readers are just as IGNORANT as yourself to believe your crap.

Meanhile, why do Brits have passports, if they dislike ID cards?

For you information, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER betwen the German passport and the German ID cards, in terms of stored data, id estit is the same data which is on the ID cards that are printed in the passports. The passports are nturally booklets, for visa acquisition.

I know this because I have both. Because the ID card is just a plastic card and LIGHTER to handle, one does not need to carry their passport all over the place. Moreover within all nations of the EU, I do not need to travel with my passport, because I do not require visum. I travel withing the EU using my ID card.

A benefits cheat who lied to get a council house and was jailed for her deception has been ordered to repay more than £190,000 to Ealing Council.

Constance Pappoe (also known as Constance Annan), 48, of Alton Avenue, Stanmore, pleaded guilty at a hearing in July last year to 11 offences, including fraudulently obtaining council housing, claiming housing and council tax benefit, and right-to-buy fraud committed over a period of 14 years.

She was sentenced to two years in jail at a hearing at Isleworth Crown Court in October and this month was ordered to repay Ealing Council. She was given eight months to pay, and if she fails to do so then her prison sentence will be increased by a year.

Despite already owning two properties in West Kensington and Northolt, Ms Pappoe applied for a council home in 1996 and was housed in a three bedroom maisonette in Hanwell. She also falsely claimed £31,125 in housing and council tax benefits over five years.

Councillor Yvonne Johnson, Ealing leader for finance and performance, said: "Pappoe cheated the system to get council housing and benefits she was not entitled to, and her deceit deprived those in genuine need of a council home. It's a great outcome that she has been ordered to repay the money and compensation to the council for her deceit.

“I hope this sends a strong message to people that even if their fraud was many years ago, we will still catch them and bring them to justice."

They cheat in churches making false claims to charity commission to claim what they have not contributed. Ghanaian pastors try to preach the true gospel and stop the lies. The authorities must target the churches and their so called pastors and ministers who do not pay taxes on what they take from the church.
