GSE All-Share index edges up

Accra, July 9, GNA - Trading on the Ghana Stock Exchange opened the week on Monday in quiet trading with the GSE All-Share index, the benchmark measure, climbing up marginally.

The index gained 1.68 points at 5,324.60 points from 5,322.92 points with volumes that changed hands ending at 253,500 from Friday's close of 82,000 shares.

Change Year to date was also up at 6.36 per cent. There were four price changes, all positive.

CAL Bank gained 0.0044 GH cedis at 0.2780 GH cedis, Ecobank Ghana was 0.0010 GH cedis at 1.4550 GH cedis, SG-SSB was 0.0005 GH cedis better at 0.8260 cedis and Ghana Commercial Bank was better by 0.0005 GH cedis at 0.6815 GH cedis.

Market capitalization ended the session at 11,492.52 million cedis from 11,491.52 million GH cedis on Friday.
