The Minister for National Security, Albert Kan Dapaah, says there is no legally registered vigilante group in the country.
However, his Ministry has information of the presence of some political foot soldiers who have constituted themselves into action groups and are unleashing violence on the peace loving public.
His comments come amidst reports of known vigilante groups including the invisible forces and Delta force of the NPP who have recently caused disturbances in some government institutions.
Speaking on the Floor of Parliament when answering an urgent question on when all political vigilante groups will be disbanded, Mr Kan Dapaah said government has made it clear through the IGP to deal with all criminals irrespective of their political affiliations.
