Yacouba has impressed in the CAF Confed Cup
ASEC Mimosa striker Ahmed Toure says people should not compare him to Sogne Yacouba as he is far ahead.
Toure stressed that what he did at Kotoko and in the Ghana league in particular, Yacouba has not done half so comparing them is flawed.
“Yacouba hasn’t done even half of what I did for Asante Kotoko. It’s not the same because I won the best player in Ghana, have scored a lot of goals for Kotoko and even won the goal king.” Toure told Silver FM
“I’ve done a lot of things for Kotoko that Yacouba is yet to do, so you cannot compare.”
“But I’m praying he overtakes what I did at Kotoko because he’s a good player and he’s like my young boy.”
Both players have been called to the Ivorian national team for next weekend AFCON qualifier with Mauritania.
