How shallow have our Politicians become! Oh, we must pay up retroactively, then. Why? Because some of our past Heads of State, if not all, did a much better job at governance than any of these recent ones demanding such a generous largesse.
Hey, so do Nkrumah, Busia, and Liman deserve such houses, too. And if the VPs also are supposed to have theirs, don't let us forget Ackaah, Aliu, and others as well!!

It is not enough that former presidents and politicians are given ex-gratia, but they have to be given a house too as a parting gift. A country that depends on over half its budgets from foreign donors doesn't see anything wrong with providing politicians with benefits that aren't given in the donor countries.Given all these government largess, no wonder most people are clamoring to be in politics.
