Ghana and Africa is not developing partly due the political and tribal appointments.In most of these appointments quality and qualifications are not considered.CEOs should be based on efficiency.

Is he saying all politicians and for that matter political appointees are that block headed to manage state institutions? Even if the president is a politician then what more? Maybe we need civil servants to be presidents and ministers also. He could just say people appointed to head state institutions should be competent that's all. In fact the man forgot that we are Blacks with black mentality and that if you put your opponent in charge of certain state institutions, they will just deliberately run it down for you. And don't forget some way some how, all those so called competent heads have their own political colours

The practice of appointing political royalist is done in every country on earth and in particular, US and GB and of those our system of government evolved from. you need your loyalist to help you to implement your vision and not outsiders. This is political doctrine. How can you entrust such positions to civil service commission for selections for state agencies which are the arm of the executive branch. Therefore, Mr Think tanker come again.
