Defender Jerry Akaminko and Rashid Sumaila have returned to the Black Stars team under new Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah.
The duo together with Aduana stars Daniel Darkwah, Nicholas Opoku Berekum Chelsea, and Liberty Professionals captain Samuel Sarfo have all been named in a 30 man squad announced by Kwesi Appiah on Wednesday afternoon.
The list also includes three local goalkeepers namely Asante Kotoko Felix Annan, Aduana Stars Joseph Addo and Wa All Stars Richard Ofori.
The 30-man squad have been named for Ghana’s matches with Ethiopia, Mexico and .USA.
Ghana begins its 2019 Cup pf Nations qualification campaign against Ethiopia on June 11 at the Baba Yara sports stadium before engaging in two friendlies against Mexico and USA on June 28 and July 1 respectively.
