Kwesi Appiah , so your boys will depend on penalty kicks to win matches? You can do better that.

Common sense should tell Ghanaians, Coach Appiah especially, that using local players as Black Stars is a dead end endeavor. The reason is simple. All of our best players leave Ghana. Moreover, most of them go and sit on benches of clubs in Europe, meaning that Ghana currently is producing average players. That's why the coach should find some talented and tested Ghanaian footballers born outside Ghana and combine them with the best of our foreign professionals. The local players can experiment and improve in the Local Black Stars and the U20 teams. People should see what's happening. We can't even beat Benin at home.

You need to read between the lines and within the context of issues surrounding football in Ghana. Let me break it down a little for you MR. NATIONA WRECKERS in case you can't expand your thinking. I'm saying that this local players aren't ready for Black Stars. They don't even perform well in CHAN, which is a lower competition than the AFCON and the world cup.

Actually, have people realized that "local player" is a temporary tag? Latif Blessing, for example, was a local player last year not this year. He was one of the best local players. Just imagine he was called into the Black Stars and replaced with an inferior current local player just because he now plays outside and not better than our other foreign players. The reasoning for including local players for the sake of it will lead to a sure disastrous result, worse than drawing with Uganda at home.

Another one, this is not about Grant, as long as we do criticise we should do that with honesty
Grant is no more and Appiah is on the job thus stop using Grant to justifying Appia's errors.

Seven of these are considered better than our foreign based players who are yet to get a chance with bs? Its a shame that we have CHAN and u21 and 23 yet the mob, soccer press and public anger means some hardworking players at not so famous european clubs like emma boateng and us based players will never get a chance when really some are more ready for senior role now than one there because he is local today.

I always ask myself where did those good old players came from e.g. Sunday, Malik, polo, Abukari, Mama Acquah, Tony Yeboah etc..... These players are lazy, unmotivated and useless.
