Former President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has taken a swipe at his successor, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo over the latter's inability to deal appropriately with the insecurity that has engulfed the country due to attacks by Vigilante groups.
John Dramani Mahama in a facebook post captured by GhanaPoliticsonline.com also referred to the seemingly quietness of the moral society as a tragedy.
"When you sow the wind, you reap a whirlwind!" Political ‘vigilantism’ is spiralling out of control and government doesn’t appear to be able to deal with the situation. And the tragedy is that most of our moral society have become passive spectators." His Excellency John Dramani Mahama stated.
Ghanaians are living in a state of insecurity in recent times due to the numerous attacks by members and sympathisers of the ruling New Patriotic Party on individuals, security agencies and the Judiciary without any disciplinary measures from both party and government machinery
