Former Asante Kotoko coach Michael Osei has challenged Felix Annan to become the first choice goalkeeper of the Black Stars of Ghana.
South Africa based Richard Ofori is currently Ghana’s number one but Michael Osei who coached Annan at Kotoko believes the former WAFA goalkeeper can become the first option should he continue like this.
“I was very happy in the first place for his (Felix Annan) call up to the Black Stars.” Michael Osei told Kumasi-based Silver 98.3 FM.
“I know he can become the number one for Ghana should he continue like this. I have trained him and I know what he can achieve. I want to see him achieve even bigger feats than just call-ups”
Felix Annan recently suggested in an interview that he’s not bent on playing abroad if conditions in Ghana. Coach Osei was asked about his opinion on this and said :
“I don’t think if there is a big offer to go abroad Annan will reject it.”
