Two-time African Cup winner, George Alhassan, has named Ghanaian football legends Mohammed Polo, Abdul Razak, and Abedi Pele as his top three Ghanaian players of all time.

George Alhassan, who played as a striker during his active football days, had the opportunity to play with a number of Ghanaian football greats.

Although Ghana has produced some top players who have graced the green turf with their skills, George Alhassan believes that some of the teammates he played with rank in his top three Ghanaian players of all time.

In an interview on Angel TV, the former Great Olympics player said he would name Kofi Badu as one of the best players who helped the Black Stars win the 1982 AFCON.

However, when it comes to ranking his all-time top three Ghanaian players, Mohammed Polo, Abdul Razak, and Abedi Pele stand tall.

"If it was '82, I would say Kofi Badu, but for '78 we had Abdul Razak and Mohammed Polo, and they both had quality," George Alhassan said.

"My top three players would be Mohammed Polo, Abdul Razak, and Abedi Pele," he added.

George Alhassan was the top scorer with four goals at the 1982 AFCON, which was won by Ghana in Libya. He won the 1978 and 1982 AFCON with Ghana.
