Deputy National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) appears to be doubtful about the party’s chances of wresting power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2020 general elections.
Ruth Seddoh expressed worry over the deep crack in the NDC which is not giving the party a united front to prepare well for the polls.
She lamented the heightened disrespect for the leadership of the party, name-calling and bickering that have crept into the NDC.
According to her, it appears the NDC is yet to resurrect from coma over their worst defeat in the 2016 general elections, hence their careless posture.
The deputy youth organiser therefore appealed to delegates and aspirants to be reminded of the underpinning principles the NDC centres on to enable them snatch power from the NPP.
She called on the party hierarchy to unite the party in order to wrest power, urging the party aspirants not to divide them but rather unite them.
